I surprised my mom with a long weekend in Paris and stayed at the Hotel Louvre Bon Enfants, the best decision due to its marvelous location, literally around the corner from metro & Louvre. Rooms (our was 407) are cozily small but adorably appointed, very clean & have all you need (security box, sm fridge, desk, ask for electricity adapters..they have your pick! only bring your electricity converter). Bathroom confortable (tub, shower, bath gel, marble top basin) Pack only small luggage.Hotel employees are warm and resourceful & there’s a “public“computer and free internet on site to research what you can’t find out from the clerks at the hotel (if you do not ask the right questions or can’t handle the language, although they speak some English & some Spanish)& PS. Don’t worry about your shoes; choice:non white sneaker-like shoes (grey, black, even metallics!) and low wedges to dine out. Paris HAS TO BE WALKED to be embraced and you’ll regret flimsy sandals & heals.Ask the clerk w/ time to arrange a shuttle transport back to the airport (17 Euros pp) you’ll feel safe & won’t have to pay the extra taxi meter that starts when you call the taxi. We definately recommend the hotel. Silvia (PR, USA)
